Your Data Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you ("Data Principal") have rights over the personal data that tagd+ ("Data Fiduciary") holds about you. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them.

Your rights

Right to access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
Right to correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, or update outdated data.
Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer needed and not required by law.
Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw any consent you previously gave (this may limit features that rely on that data).
Right to grievance redressal: Raise a complaint about how your data is handled and receive a timely response.
Right to nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

How to exercise your rights

You can manage much of your data directly in the app under Settings (edit profile, manage consent, delete account). For any request, email our Grievance Officer at [email protected] with the subject "DPDP Request" and a description of your request. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period as required by law.

Consent

When you sign up, we ask for your consent to process specific categories of data (such as profile data, photos, and location). You can review or withdraw these consents at any time in Settings.
