This Privacy Policy explains how tagd+ ("tagdplus", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the tagd+ app and website (tagdplus.com). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Information we collect

Account & profile: phone number, name, age, gender, photos, bio, occupation, dietary and activity preferences.
Usage: meal/activity slots you post or join, bookings, reviews, and in-app activity.
Location: approximate or precise location, only when you grant permission, to show nearby meals and venues.
Device & technical: device type, IP address, and app diagnostics.
Payments: processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card or bank details.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and verify you via OTP.
To match you with compatible dining and activity partners.
To process bookings and payments.
To maintain safety, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
To send you service notifications and respond to support requests.

3. Sharing your information

We share limited data with service providers who help us operate the app, including MSG91 (OTP/SMS), Razorpay (payments), and Amazon Web Services & Google Cloud/Firebase (hosting, messaging, analytics). We share your first name and profile details with other users only as needed to facilitate a confirmed meal or activity. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion at any time (see your rights below).

5. Your rights (DPDP Act 2023)

You have the right to access, correct, and erase your data, to withdraw consent, and to raise grievances. See our DPDP Rights page for details and how to exercise them.

6. Data security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

7. Children

tagd+ is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by other reasonable means.
